For most of the twentieth century, getting a piece of clothing made for you meant going to a tailor. They knew your name, your shoulders, the way you held a coat. Then we replaced them with sizes — small, medium, large — and shipped clothes by the millions to warehouses in places no one wears them.
Atelise is an attempt to put that relationship back, with the help of software, not against it. A network of master ateliers, on every continent. A library of fabrics from the mills we trust. A way to design or pick a piece, send your measurements, and have it cut and sewn — to fit you, to last decades, by someone whose name you'll know.
